Influence of some external factors on the semiconductor interaction
with the photoemulsion has been studied. The glow discharge influence
on the semiconductor chemographic activity has been shown to be due
not to the direct ion action on the surface but to molecules generated
in the glow discharge medium; those molecules can catalyze oxidation
processes on the Si surface.
